The American Society of Anesthesiologists is improving its email marketing system to by now allowing members to choose the topics they receive emails about, according to an ASA release.
According to the release, members can "opt in" to receive more detailed information via email from ASA on desired topics. ASA members can opt in to certain topical emails, including the ASA monthly newsletter, the ASAP weekly e-newsletter, information on career opportunities, information on continuing education, surveys and third-party emails.
Members can make selections by scrolling to the bottom of the latest ASA email and clicking a "manage subscriptions" link that allows members to change their email subscriptions.
