Endoscopy device designer and manufacturer US Endoscopy has acquired the gastroenterology business unit of Bracco Diagnostics.
The Bracco GBU portfolio includes CO2 insufflation systems, biopsy collection devices and more.
"US Endoscopy is broadening its portfolio offering related to CO2 insufflation and biopsy collection," said Tony Siracusa, vice president and general manager of US Endoscopy. "We continue to see the use of CO2 insufflation versus standard room air during endoscopy procedures grow due to its clinical benefits of reduced patient discomfort post procedure."
