University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine named Greg Kennedy, MD, PhD, director of the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery.
Here are four things to know:
1. Dr. Kennedy most recently provided care at Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison.
2. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
3. His clinical interests include colon cancer, rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and benign conditions of colon, rectum and anus.
4. He completed his colon and rectal surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
