In advance of the 2017 transition year for CMS' Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act final rule implementation, the American Gastroenterological Association compiled the complete measure set for GI physicians.
For 2017, physicians need to submit one out of at least six quality measures, attest to at least one improvement activity and report on the required advancing care information measures.
They are:

- Measure #128 - Preventive Care and Screening: Body Mass Index Screening and Follow-Up Plan
- Measure #130 - Documentation of Current Medication in the Medical Record
- Measure #185 - Colonoscopy Interval for Patient with a History of Adenomatous Polyps - Avoidance of Inappropriate Use
- Measure #226 - Preventative Care and Screening: Tobacco Use: Screening and Cessation Intervention
- Measure #271 - Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Preventive Care: Corticosteroid Related Iatrogenic Injury - Bone Loss Assessment
- Measure #275 - Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Assessment of Hepatitis B Virus Status Before Initiating Anti-TNF Therapy
- Measure #317 - Preventive Care and Screening: Screening for High Blood Pressure and Follow-Up Documented
- Measure #320 - Appropriate Follow-Up Interval for Normal Colonoscopy in Average Risk Patients
- Measure #343 - Screening Colonoscopy Adenoma Detection Rate Measure
- Measure #374 - Closing the Referral Loop: Receipt of Specialist Report
