Integrated Endoscopy adds leaders ahead of US single-use arthroscope launch: 4 key notes

As Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif-based Integrated Endoscopy prepares for the early 2017 launch of its single-use arthroscope, the company appointed several to its corporate leadership team.

Here's what you need to know.

1. The company named Brad Sharp president, CEO and a member of the board of directors.

Mr. Sharp has more than 30 years of experience in the optics and medical device field. He will lead the global commercialization efforts for the Nuvis Single-Use Endoscope technology.

2. The company added several members to its leadership team. They are:

  • Rob Cripe, executive vice president of global marketing and America's sales
  • Laxmi Khanolkar, vice president of Asia/Middle East sales
  • Mike Ameli, vice president of manufacturing
  • Tom Colonna, vice president of regulatory affairs/quality assurance

3. The appointees will join Chief Technology Officer Lonnie Hoyle and Vice President of Research and Development Kais Almarzouk on the leadership team.

4. Integrated Endoscopy believes their sub-$300 single use endoscope with its distal LED light source will "significantly impact" the U.S. market, Mr. Sharp said.
