The gastroenterology-specific electronic health record provider gMed selected Maryland-based Secure Exchange Solutions as a healthcare data exchange partner. The deal will allow for the secure, direct exchange of healthcare information in compliance with Meaningful Use Stage 2 requirements. gMed can now provide a secure messaging component for providers to exchange patient records and clinical care summaries.
