Given Imaging, a company focused on capsule endoscopy, has announced that it has received clearance to market its PillCam COLON in Japan from the country's Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices Agency.
The PillCam COLON, equipped with two color video cameras, is intended to be an option for patients that cannot or are unwilling to undergo a colonoscopy.
