GI physician leader to know: Dr. Moshe Rubin of New York Hospital Queens

Moshe Rubin, MD, is director of gastroenterology and program director of the gastroenterology fellowship training program, as well as the director of the Digestive Disease Service Line at New York Hospital Queens. He previously served on the faculty at Columbia University Medical Center as an associate professor for 20 years. He is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Dr. Rubin focuses on capsule endoscopy, double balloon enteroscopy, celiac disease, GERD, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, C. difficile and colonoscopy. He joined New York Hospital Queens to lead the hospital's gastroenterology division in January 2008. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr. Rubin earned his medical degree from Yale University in New Haven, Conn. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
