Kyle Eliason, MD, is a gastroenterologist practicing with Sanford Health in Bismarck, N.D. He is board-certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology and hepatology. His areas of expertise include Barrett's esophagus, biliary disease, celiac disease, cirrhosis of the liver and liver disorders, diarrhea, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and ERCP.
Dr. Eliason's research work has appeared in prestigious publications such as Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Endoscopic Ultrasound. He won the Teaching Resident award at Iowa City-based University of Iowa Department of Internal Medicine in 2011 and the Careers in Transplantation Award from the American Foundation for Donation and Transplantation in 2010.
Dr. Eliason earned his medical degree at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond. He completed his residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City and his GI and hepatology at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics in Salt Lake City.
