Jay R. Levinson, MD, is a physician with Digestive Health Associates and performs procedures at the Michigan Endoscopy Center, both in Farmington Hills. He also provides care at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak (Mich.). He is certified by the Board of Internal Medicine and Board of Internal Medicine-Gastroenterology.
Dr. Levinson is the former chief of the gastroenterology section at Grace-Sinai Hospital in Detroit. He is also the former chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee of the Michigan Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and the former president of the Detroit Gastroenterological Society.
Dr. Levinson focuses on inflammatory bowel disease, Barrett's esophagus and other esophageal disorders.
Dr. Levinson earned his medical degree at Wayne State University in Detroit and his residency at Sinai Hospital-Detroit. He completed his fellowship at Wayne State University.
