Hemant Roy, MD, serves as the chief of gastroenterology and professor of medicine at Boston Medical Center. He has been a faculty member at BMC since 2013.
Dr. Roy is a fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association and is a member of the National Institute's of Health's Early Detection Research Network and the Cancer Biomarkers Study Section.
After earning his medical degree from Chicago-based Northwestern University, he underwent an internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City. He completed his fellowship at University of Chicago.
