David G. Forcione, MD is the associate director of interventional endoscopy at Massachusetts General Hospital and assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, both located in Boston. He is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
Dr. Forcione has a professional interest in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, endoscopic ultrasound, pancreas cysts, pancreatitis and Barrett's esophagus. He also has expertise in endoscopic ablation of Barrett's esophagus, endolumenal stenting and cyanoacrylate glue injection for varices. His work has been published in prestigious journals, such as Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Annals of Surgery.
Dr. Forcione earned his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
