Russell Cohen, MD, is the director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center and a gastroenterologist with The University of Chicago Medicine.
Dr. Cohen has extensive experience treating inflammatory bowel disease, and he now leads a team of specialists to treat patients with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
His career began after he earned his medical degree from New York's Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency at Harvard Medical School in Boston, before his fellowship in gastroenterology and nutrition at the University of Chicago.
