Mark Young, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Johnson City-based Gastrointestinal Associates of Northeast Tennessee.
Dr. Young began his career after earning his degree from Johnson City-based East Tennessee State University. He completed a residency at Johnson City-based James H. Quillen College of Medicine and a fellowship at Tucson-based University of Arizona.
He has been with Gastrointestinal Associates since 1996.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Young is the James H. Quillen College of Medicine's fellowship director. He is also a professor at the same school.
Dr. Young is a member of several professional organizations including the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology and American Medical Association among others.
