Douglas Howell, MD, is a gastroenterologist at the Portland (Maine) Gastroenterology Center.

His career began after he earned his medical degree from Philadelphia's Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship at Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
