Dermot McGovern, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

He began his career after earning his medical degree from London, England-based St. Mary's Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at Gloucester, England-based Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and his fellowship at Bristol, England-based University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. He completed postdoctoral work at South West Peninsula Deanery and a second fellowship at England-based Oxford University.
