Daryl M. McClendon, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Anchorage-based Alaska Digestive and Liver Disease Clinic.
Dr. McClendon earned his medical degree from Galveston-based University of Texas Medical Branch. While serving in the U.S. Air Force, he completed a residency at Biloxi, Miss.-based Kessler Medical Center and a fellowship at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium.
After serving in the Air Force for nine years, he began his digestive disease practice in 2000.
Dr. McClendon is an American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterological Association fellow.
Outside of his practice, he is involved with the Boy Scouts of America in a leadership capacity and enjoys the Alaskan wilderness.
