3. Dr. Schauer is the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery's past president. He specializes in laparoscopic surgery.
4. The scientific advisory board consists of physicians and scientists specializing in endocrinology, gastroenterology and bariatric/metabolic surgery.
