Fabio Cominelli, MD, PhD, is a gastroenterologist and professor of medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. He is the chief of the division of gastroenterology and liver disease and director of the Digestive Health Institute at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland.
Dr. Cominelli is a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation and Association of American Physicians. His clinical interests include Crohn's disease, gastroenterology, gastrointestinal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and ulcerative colitis.
Dr. Cominelli earned his medical degree from and completed his residency at the Universita Degli Studi di Firenze in Florence, Italy, and completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, Calif.
