Niraj Ajmere, MD, is a gastroenterologist at DuPage Medical Group. He has a special interest in treating heart burn, acid reflux, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and non-cardiac chest pain. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Ajmere’s philosophy of care is listening to the patient and offering options for an individualized treatment plan. DuPage Medical Group includes more than 475 physicians in 60 locations around the Chicago area.
He earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois and completed his residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. His additional training includes a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts.
