Community Affect announced its list of top 100 influential and aspiring figures in Reno, Nev., and Tahoe, Calif., and Dennis Yamamoto, MD, was named to the area's top 10 "Superheroes" category.
Dr. Yamamoto is a board-certified gastroenterologist practicing with Digestive Health Associates of Reno. He is also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Nevada's Reno School of Medicine.
He has a medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing and completed all additional medical training, including a fellowship, at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
