The Center for Digestive Disease at Baltimore's MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center added Abhinav Sankineni to its staff.
Here's what you should know.
1. Dr. Sankineni specializes in treating diseases of the esophagus including esophageal cancer and Barrett's esophagus.
2. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
3. Dr. Sankineni began his career after earning his medical degree from the Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences in Andhra Pradesh, India. He completed a residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania, and then had fellowships in interventional endoscopy, gastroenterology and gastrointestinal motility at Temple University.
