The Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Cottage Children’s Medical Center recently opened its new multispecialty pediatric clinics, according to Noozhawk.
Here's what you need to know:
1. The new 10,000-square-foot pediatric clinics bring specialties including gastroenterology, hematology and endocrinology together in one building. These clinics were previously located in different parts of the city.
2. The outpatient children's clinics include a pediatric digestive health center, which treats various GI, nutritional and liver disorders like IBD, gastroesophageal reflux disease and bleeding from the digestive tract.
3. The digestive health center also includes services like colonoscopy, anorectal manometry and access to the medical center's bowel management clinic.
