Connecticut ASC Selects ProVation Medical Software for GI Procedure Documentation and Coding

Wolters Kluwer Health has announced that Shoreline Surgery Center in Guilford, Conn., has selected its ProVation MD software for GI procedure documentation and coding.

ProVation MD can help replace dictation and transcription and allow physicians to document procedures at the point of care, according to a news release.

Shoreline Surgery Center performs procedures in pain management, endoscopy and GI services. It is owned by Yale-New Haven Shoreline Medical Center, an extension of the Yale-New Haven Hospital.
"Like its nationally recognized parent, Yale-New Haven Hospital, Shoreline Surgery Center is dedicated to providing high quality, cost-effective services to all of its patients," said Arvind Subramanian, CEO of Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions divisionk, according to the news release. "We are pleased that they have selected ProVation MD for GI further this mission and provide streamlined GI procedure documentation and coding."
