Alcanza Clinical Research, an integrated network of research facilities focused on underrepresented patient populations, has acquired the Kansas City Research Institute.
KCRI is a clinical research site based in Kansas City, Mo., with therapeutic specializations focused in gastroenterology, gastrointestinal oncology, hepatology and a host of metabolic diseases, according to a May 1 press release.
Alcanza includes 23 dedicated research units and several additional sites integrated within specialty clinics across the Southeast, Northeast and Midwest regions of the U.S.
