The American Gastroenterological Association, along with PRIME Education and the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, are organizing workshops for payers and providers to improve treatment decision-making in chronic gastroenterological diseases.
Here are three points:
1. Twelve live workshops will be conducted in cities across the United States with high prevalence and extensive networks of healthcare providers treating hepatitis C virus and inflammatory bowel disease.
2. The workshops will bring GI providers and managed care pharmacy professionals together to achieve mutual understanding of their intertwining roles and shared goals.
3. The workshops will begin at the AMCP Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy Annual Meeting in San Francisco from April 19 to April 22.
