Surgery Partners' Q3 revenue hits $282.7M; SCA expands presence in Connecticut through 2 partnerships & more — 6 key notes on ASC management companies

Here are six updates on ASC management companies to note.

Surgical Care Affiliates, based in Deerfield, Ill., formed a partnership with Surgical Center of Connecticut in Bridgeport as well as Norwich, Conn.-based River ValleyAmbulatory Surgery Center. SCA's recent partnerships expand its presence in the state to six locations.

Nashville, Tenn.-based AmSurg's New Amethyst Corp. proposed a private offering of $750 million aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes, which will be due in 2024. This news relates to the proposed merger of Envision Healthcare and AmSurg.

During the week of Nov. 7 to Nov. 11, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare shares dropped 9.6 percent, trading at $14.55 per share.

Headquartered in Houston, Nobilis Health owned and/or operated five ASCs, four acute care surgical hospitals and was affiliated with 36 other facilities as of Sept. 30, 2016.

For the third quarter, Surgery Partners, headquartered in Nashville, reported 18 percent year-over-year revenue growth to $282.7 million.

Nashville-based Hospital Corporation of America shares traded at $69.56 per share, a 7.7 percent decrease, during the week of Nov. 7 to Nov. 11.
