Vero Beach, Fla.-based Grove Place Surgery Center's physician members selected Surgical Care Affiliates to become a partner in the center.
Here are four things to know:
1. The partnership went into effect June 2.
2. A physician-led outpatient center, Grove Place Surgery Center offers services including general surgery, orthopedics, otorhinolaryngology, pain management and podiatry.
3. As of March 31, 2016, SCA was in partnership with more than 190 Florida physicians.
4. SCA operated 194 surgical facilities across the United States as of March 31, 2016.
"We are excited that the physician owners of Grove Place chose to partner with SCA and look forward to working with them to continue providing excellent healthcare to the residents of Vero Beach," said Rena Courtay, leader of SCA's Florida operations. "Our partnership reinforces Grove Place's position as a local leader in providing a high-quality, lower cost alternative for outpatient procedures."
