Laurens, S.C.-based Palmetto Bone & Joint is constructing a 20,000-square-foot medical facility with an orthopedic surgery center in Chapin, S.C., Cola Daily reports.
Here's what you need to know.
1. The new center will include medical offices, 12 exam rooms, in-office x-ray capabilities, a fluoroscopy suite and two operating rooms.
2. Phillip Milner, MD, said to Cola Daily the group decided to construct a facility in Chapin because a large number of patients were traveling a significant distance to their Newberry, S.C. location.
3. The Chapin facility will be the third location for Palmetto Bone & Joint. John Griz, MD, opened Palmetto Bone & Joint in 1982.
4. A completion date was not specified for the new location.
