Atlanta Orthopaedic Institute Surgery Center partnered with Practice Partners in Healthcare, a surgical services provider, to develop and manage an ASC.

1. Raj Pandya, MD, founded Atlanta Orthopaedic Institute and is now working with Practice Partners in Healthcare to develop and manage its ASC. Dr. Pandya serves as president of AOI, developing the practice's clinically integrated model.
2. AOI includes an advanced rehabilitation center and physical therapy services to provide cost-effective episodes of care. "My goal is to develop EPSCOT, the experimental prototype surgery center of tomorrow, which requires best in class in all service lines," said Dr. Pandya. "That's why I chose Larry Taylor and Practice Partners to manage AOISCC."
3. Operationally, AOI has advanced technology portals for data mining and communications. Dr. Pandya founded Unicore Health, a platform devoted to providing clinically relative technologies and tools to injured workers to return to productivity.
4. In addition to his clinical practice and technology endeavors, Dr. Pandya developed medical devices and applications for knee and shoulder procedures and serves as a team physician to professional and Olympic athletes.
5. Practice Partners in Healthcare specializes in working with de novo and turnaround surgery centers, providing resources for daily operations.
