"Agitated Patient" Injures 5 Employees at St. Cloud Hospital in Minnesota

An "agitated" patient has injured five employees at St. Cloud (Minn.) Hospital, according to a St. Cloud Times report.

The patient, who was admitted to St. Cloud's emergency room with an unknown medical condition, became agitated when hospital staff members began tending to him. The patient kicked, punched and pinched several staff members while screaming profanities, according to the report. By the time he was retrained and arrested, a total of five employees suffered minor injuries.

The patient faces a possible fourth-degree assault charge against a medical professional, according to the report.
