New York-based CodeSmart has contracted with the U.S. Department of the Interior to provide ICD-10 education to the Veterans Affairs office in Austin, Texas.
CodeSmart will train military veterans in the updated medical code set to provide potential job opportunities for the personnel in an area that will be in high demand.
CodeSmart University, the company's online program for existing and new coders, is endorsed by 60 colleges and universities.
