Anthem CEO Joseph Swedish said the payer is approaching 60 percent value-based care spending, Forbes reports.

1. As payers and physicians move away from fee-for-service, Anthem's Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans have adopted a 58 percent value-based reimbursement structure total spending rate.
2. than 75 percent of Anthem's total spending is "represented" by a shared savings agreement, shared risk arrangements and population-based payment models," CEO Joseph Swedish said in an investor call, Forbes reports.
