NeuroSpine Institute of Orlando’s Global Microsurgical Center of Orlando receives accreditation: 5 key notes

The NeuroSpine Institute of Orlando received accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care at the Orlando ASC, Global Microsurgical Center of Orlando.

Here are five things to know about NeuroSpine Institute of Orlando:

1. The surgeons at the center use patented microsurgical techniques for decompression and reconstruction.

2. Robert Masson, MD, founded NeuroSpine Institute Orlando. He has performed more than 11,000 microsurgical spine procedures and more than 4,000 minimally invasive lumbar spinal reconstructions and revisions.

3. Dr. Masson has worked with several professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, US Ski Team and PGA/LPGA tours as well as amateur athletes.

4. Procedures the surgeons perform include minimally invasive spine surgery, the iMAS procedure, herniated disc surgery and a microsurgical keyhole decompression.

5. In July 2016, NeuroSpine Institute launched a combined Orlando/Park City, Utah six month fellowship focused on minimally invasive spine surgeries and the iMAS procedure.
